The venue for the conference will be mostly in UCL Marshgate building, levels 2 (reception, registration, lunch and breaks) and 4 (parallel sessions). We will use level 7 for the receptions on the evening of the Tuesday and Wednesday.
However, we will also use close neighbouring building One Pool Street for some plenary sessions. This is the opening sessions for Tues and the keynote on Wednesday morning. One Pool Street is about 100m from Marshgate. The image left shows that it is a short walk over the canal and into One Pool Street (also a UCL building).
Signage and volunteers will be on hand to help guide delegates to the right location.
UCL East - Marshgate
UCL's newest, purpose built university teaching and research facilities provide a perfect space for TE2024. Built on the site of the London 2012 Olympics, Marshgate sits among the famous Zaha Hadid Olympic swimming centre, the Olympic Stadium - home to West Ham Football Club, and the iconic ArcelorMittal Orbit sculpture.
The map to the left shows where UCL East Marshgate is located in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. This will be helpful both in terms of deciding which hotel to stay in as well as how to get here from whichever port of entry to London you use.
